Grand Year

Welcome from CT IORG!

CT IORG will be “Roaring as One” with Simba and all the animals in the Pride Lands as we are guided by the great animals of the past! IORG is a place where girls find who they are while rooting themselves in the ideals of the organization. That is why our goal throughout this year is to strengthen our connection with our Masonic Families, our friends from across the Savanna, new, present, and past members as we become one. Our “Lion Guard” Grand Officers and “Rising Cub” Grand Representatives will be leading the charge in the many adventures and memories we will make this year!

Our mascots are Safari Animals that have unique talents to protect the Pride Lands and defend the Circle of Life. Our symbols are lion paw prints, suns, stars, and Rafiki’s drawings. Our colors are Lion Cub Orange, Sunshine Yellow, Sapphire Sky Blue, and Scar Red. Our song is “They Live in You,” from Disney’s The Lion King musical. Our flower is the Tree of Life. This year our honor station is the Station of Faith. Our quote is, “Every being has a place in the Circle of Life,” by Mufasa. As we represent the Savanna this year we will also be giving back to the local Connecticut Beardsley Zoo as this year’s charity. We will learn about their efforts of education, conservation, and recreation while we support their mission this coming year. So, let’s go together and go far as we connect with our IORG family as one in another great year!
